Google has officially launched in India the first mobile devices with Android One , its new smartphone platform but quality economic initially destined for emerging markets .

With Android One , the search company wants to offer customers the best emerging Android experience without having to make a large financial outlay, which in most cases have to pay more than they earn in a couple of months to access a good phone.

Android One, the Google input range for emerging countries

One will offer Google Android with a new range of devices smatphones input range with good hardware, direct updates from Google for two years, no manufacturer customizations (like the Nexus), and the best data rates thanks to agreements with local operators.


Android One, first models on sale in India

The first Android One-to-market are Sparkle V Karbonn , Micromax A1 Canvas and Spice Dream One.’re on sale today only in India through these local manufacturers. Their prices are 6,399 Indian rupees , about 89 euros to change. The operator also offers a plan Airtel India 200 MB per month which will not count downloads Google Play.


These three models have exactly the same hardwarde and virtually the same appearance. They have a display of 4, 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels), quad-core Cortex A7 MediaTek 1.3 GHz Quad-Core, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB of internal memory expandable with microSD (standard come with an 8 GB), Dual SIM, 5 MP camera and 2 MP, Battery 1700 mAh and the latest version of Android 4.4 (KitKat). Google has already reported that these models be updated to the new version of Android when released.

Google has started the adventure with Karbonn, Micrmax, Spice and MediaTek, but have joined the platform more companies like Acer, Alcatel OneTouch, Asus, HTC, Lenovo, Panasonic and Qualcomm, among other manufacturers.

Android One, available in more countries

After the initial launch in India, Google launched before the end of this year Android devices One in Indonesia, the Philippines and South Asia (Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka). In 2015 they will reach to more countries.
